"Me too," he says with a grin. Then, taking her hand, he heads across the field. "Come on!"

They find a nice spot to watch the water and the constant parade of ships whizzing by. He spreads out his coat for them to lay down on.

"So," he starts after a bit. "The year five billion, the sun expands, Earth gets roasted." (Rose breaks in with a giggle about it being 'their first date'.) "So anyway, planet gone, all rocks and dust, but the Human Race lives on, spread out across the stars. Soon as the Earth burns up - oh, yeah, they get all nostalgic - big revival movement... but find this place! Same size as the Earth... same air... same orbit... lovely! Call goes out, the humans move in!"
