Technology is all well and good, but experience counts for a lot, as does forming a good connection and understanding with one's TARDIS. It's just a pity that the Doctor had alienated too much of the University staff to have been invited as a guest lecturer.

He sets the TARDIS down right wherewhen they left it, and pulled the lever to open the door.
